Richard P. Myers, Esq. has practiced law since 1979 and is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale Hubbell. He has practiced primarily in the areas of personal injury litigation, insurance bad faith, insurance coverage with related opinions, toxic tort, and construction. Mr. Myers has practiced in both state and federal courts.  His experience includes trial and appellate work, as well as administrative agency appearances.

Mr. Myers has worked for two Fortune 100 companies, Texaco Inc. and most recently Liberty Mutual Insurance Group. While at Liberty Mutual he managed its Colorado legal office as well as handling a full caseload. At Texaco, Mr. Myers focused primarily on oil and gas leasehold acquisition and related contract work.

Additionally, his background includes operating his own real estate rehab company, which provided him hands-on experience in all facets of home renovation from framing and drywall to plumbing and electrical issues. He also managed a Denver-based rock band in the early to mid 1990’s during which time he also owned and operating his own record label.

ADR Experience and Mediation Philosophy

Mr. Myers has attended hundreds of mediations and settled hundreds more cases. He has attended and participated in many mediation and negotiation seminars/workshops both locally and nationally as well as having read many respected books on the subject. He believes the majority of cases should be settled given the high cost of litigation and the emotional toll on the parties. He strives to see and understand each side of a dispute with a goal of reaching a resolution that is reasonable to all parties given the unique facts inherent to their particular dispute.
